Collection: Photography

The Bavin's have a long history of photography in the Columbia Valley and it's surroundings.

Hal Bavin started making photos of the area in the 1930's and continued through to the early 1980's.  Hal's collection of photography is held in the Windermere Valley Museum in Invermere.

Ryan, learned about photography from his grandfather Hal, eventually inheriting Hal's analog darkroom equipment when he passed away.  Ryan continues to photograph to this day, especially while he is out guiding in the backcountry surrounding Invermere.
